And here we are! After months of torture and intense effort, we finally arrive at the last "getting down post"! Challenge COMPLETED!

And now, to the news!

Over the last couple of months, during the development of the new main page portal, we have been secretly creating a new system -- completely revamping the current structure, the new portal system looks awesomer than your wildest dreams, and is also pretty, and sexy, and overall badass - in fact it achieves a level of awesomeness usually reserved for Chuck Norris or Teddy Roosevelt.

I would also like to make a special mention for our oldest admin and my consigliere, User:Master Sima Yi. My second in command, his amazing writing skills and throughout knowledge of AC canon helped shape this wiki to what it has become today. Leadership and charisma aren't everything a administration needs to be successful -- it also needs efficiency, dedication and professionalism. And Sima helps to make sure the wiki has all three of them. He is the Spock to my Captain Kirk. He is the Guardian of knowledge of this Compendium of information. And he is a good friend of mine. Thank you, Phil.

The grey sections will eventually be filled with listing, info, pictures or more. As said, it's a work in progress.

In another little bit piece of news, we are now officially working on a partnership with another gaming wikis -- more info on that in the future.

That is all for today. Post your comments below -- me and the staff want to hear your oppinions on the new portal system! Safety and peace, and a good week to all.
Aaand this is all for now, brothers and sisters. Stay tuned for more AC news and sound off on the comments below. =]

Greetings, padawan. First of all, I'm sorry for your master's departure -- he was a good member, and he will be missed.
Your training is already too advanced -- it won't be right to put in on hold. We don't have any masters avaiable to continue it, but even then, the necessity of it is dubious. You have already exceled in many fields, and you have a great attitude and sociability towards the community and hierarchy -- your weak spot, editing, is something you will acquire with practice. You don't need to be teached to edit, you need experience. As such, you are now promoted out of the iniative and into the Istruttorium.
You are now a ACWiki moderator -- you are responsible for the status of articles, keeping of order in the community and you now have access to rollback powers. Those are your duties, and expected to be fulfilled.
Given the recent events and circunstances, you may receive "missions" from me or the Council of Two -- unlike apprentices assignments, those will not be timed, and will focus on your weak spot. We aim to help you improve, being in the staff is no excuse to settling down.
Contact Steen for your personalized avatar and Istruttori logos. You also have access to Istruttore templates: Ist and UserIst
I am sorry that your promotion is not on better terms, but we can't stop -- we must always move forward. War will be missed, but there's always a chance he will come back. Don't lose faith. Congratulations on your promotion, and report to Rayne and Vatsa.
Welcome to the brotherhood. -- D. Cello 19:25, August 18, 2011 (UTC)

Today, the Assassin's Creed UK channel on Youtube released a gameplay trailer of AC: Revelations. This is the first view of gameplay since the E3 demo, and shows a lot more than a harbor attack: The trailer features both Ezio and Altaïr on locations such as the city of Constantinople and Masyaf. Watch the trailer below and voice your oppinion on the commentaries!

Also, User:Rapnoize has gotten us some images that so far I have not seen anywhere. Two of them picture Altaïr in Masyaf, and the last one is Ezio on-the-kill of some guy. The most amazing about the second one is the presence of a kneeling Al Mualim between two Templar Guards! Awesome ^^ Check them below!

On a cheerful note, this week the wiki has surpassed the TWO THOUSAND main article count! (everyone cheers)
It's amazing to see that little 7-page site I found in 2009 become a 2000 pages encyclopedia, a compendium of information so complete and awesome that even AC developers use for reference. A encylopedia better even than Ubisoft's official one. And all of this build by us -- editors and staff.

To celebrate this, User:Nostalgia AC (our newest Istruttore) have made a special commemorative userbox, which can be seen below along with it's code:

This user has helped the wiki achieve 2000 articles and has earned a slice of the Assassin's Poundcake.
