Assassin?

I was wondering: was Captain Kidd an Assassin? I noticed that the Captain Kidd outfit had an Assassin insignia on it and that got me wondering. — M.C.Tales (talk) 20:25, November 26, 2012 (UTC)

I was thinking the same thing because the insignia on the front of his outfit looks nothing like Connor's assassin insignia. I think he might be an Assassin. —unsigned comment by AndyC89 (talk · contr)

It's a thing to bear in mind that the Armor of Brutus also had an Assassin insignia on its back and he turned out to be an Assassin. -- Master Sima Yi _Talk 08:22, December 14, 2012 (UTC)

Out of curiosity, then, why was it added anyway? Black Flag does not confirm that Kidd was an Assassin. Only that boy claiming to be Kidd's son was an Assassin, and had only been so for a couple of years.69.169.185.177 00:57, November 6, 2013 (UTC)

Echoes podcast

Although the Echoes podcast has pivoted away from AC—hopefully it will return—the trailer for the new Skull and Bones season says that Kidd will feature in the series, since he did sail in the Indian Ocean. Since AC3 and Memories are incredibly vague on Kidd's life details, should we include the historical info the podcast provides on him and any other characters even if the series is not currently AC-focused? – Darman (talk) 03:50, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
