Official name[edit source]
Is Spartan Army canonically confirmed to be the official name of the Spartan army? I know this seems silly, but this is an actual matter in real-life militaries. Not all armies are named with the simple format: [Country in adjectival form] + 'Army' and the capitalization of army here suggests it. For example, the army of the People's Republic of China is not named the Chinese Army but the People's Liberation Army. However, it is the Chinese army (or a Chinese army).
