I'm confused on how Ahmet's plan would come together. If he wanted to be Sultan and control the Ottoman Empire then why was he trying to help the Byzantines conquer Constantinople? Surly it would have been easier to use the Ottoman resources to further the Templar cause than to rebuild the Byzantine empire in a bloody coup. | |||

Main Antagonist
Should Ahmet be counted as the games main antagonist?

I'm confused on how Ahmet's plan would come together. If he wanted to be Sultan and control the Ottoman Empire then why was he trying to help the Byzantines conquer Constantinople? Surly it would have been easier to use the Ottoman resources to further the Templar cause than to rebuild the Byzantine empire in a bloody coup.
