Victoria, Princess Royal (Victoria Adelaide Mary Louisa; 1840 – 1901) was the wife of the German Emperor Frederick III and as such was made German Empress and Queen of Prussia briefly in 1888 until Frederick III died just 99 days later. She was the eldest child of Queen Victoria and was heir until the birth of her younger brother, the future Edward VII.[1]
