Tom Eccleston (died 1868) was a member of the British Rite of the Templar Order who was active in London during the Victorian era. Eccleston's reputation as the fastest runner in London caught the Templars' attention and they recruited him to work as one of their information couriers. He often carried political secrets that could vastly influence the British political landscape. In 1868, the British Assassin Henry Green marked Eccleston for assassination and directed the Assassins Jacob and Evie Frye to his location in one of the River Thames' boatyards, where he was killed.[1]
