| |

| == Feud with the Auditore Family ==
| |
| It is apparent that the Pazzi Family had a feud with the Auditore Family since before the events of Assassins Creed II. This is evidenced by the fact that, on the bridge in southern Florence, where the first mission of Assassins Creed II where the player gets to play as Ezio (besides the scene of Ezio's birth) takes place, as soon as Vieri de' Pazzi spots Ezio Auditore and the latter spots Vieri, the two exchange unfriendly words and then fight each other along with their men. This feud may have roots in the fact that a couple of members of the Auditore Family were members of the Assassin's Creed by the beginning of the events of Assassin's Creed II, while two, possibly three and maybe even four members of the Pazzi Family were members of the Knights Templar by the same time. This feud resembles that between the Capulets and Montagues in William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, as, in both of them, the feud between the two relevant families has apparently existed since before the beginning of the story in both stories, and in the sense that there is never a concrete reason given for the hatred between the two families (Ezio apparently hated Vieri long before learning about the Assassin's Creed, the Knights Templar, or the battle between the two organizations, although it is unclear whether or not Vieri hated Ezio before learning about the same things). The two stories also share a setting (Northen Italy, near the foot of the Appennine Mountains) and possibly also a time (late 1400's, the Renaissance).

| == Involvement with the Knights Templar ==
| |
| Three members of the Pazzi Family were undeniably Templars; Vieri, Francesco and Jacopo, and a fourth member of the family may be a Templar; an unnamed family member who Lorenzo de' Medici pays Ezio Auditore to kill at a party the unnamed family member was hosting on the western waterfront of Venice. There could also be family members who joined the Knights Templar preceding or succeeding the events of Assassin's Creed II.
