Tazim was a member of the Levantine Brotherhood of Assassins.

One evening in 1247, Tazim sat with Teragani, Cemal, and another Assassin at a campfire just outside Masyaf's gate. Cemal and Teragani were deriding the nightmares afflicting their leader Abbas Sofian when they were joined by Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, Abbas's ousted predecessor, without a self-introduction.[1]
