Saint Patrick (c. 385 – c. 461) was a Romano-British missionary and bishop who lived during the 5th century. He was regarded as the founder of Christianity in Ireland and later became its patron saint alongside Brigid of Kildare and Columba.

Biography[edit | edit source]

In 445,[1] during his time in Ireland, Patrick visited the town of Armagh, where he built a stone church.[2]
