Psenemphaia Hideout was a bandit camp located south of Sais and southwest of Camp Pyrrhos in the Sapi-Res Nome.
History[edit | edit source]
In 48 BCE, bandits from the camp abducted Nesamun, an assistant of the town's brewer Harkhuf, who was delivering a shipment of beer to Yamu to honor Sekhmet. Holding Nesamun captive in their camp, the bandits drank some of the beer and destroyed the others, demanding Nesamun to brew more for them.[1]
When word reached Harkhuf that the shipment never reached Yamu, he requested the Medjay Bayek of Siwa to investigate. With Senu's help, Bayek was able to locate Nesamun and raided the camp, killing the bandits and freeing the assistant.[1]
