Nicholas Spencer (1633–1689) was an English Virginia planter and politician.

In 1674, Spencer bought a plot of land with his friend, John Washington. In 1690, their heirs split the land, leaving the Washington family with the portion running along Little Hunting Creek, while the Spencer family kept the portion along Dogue Creek.[1]
