Nada was the daughter of the tradesman Mukhlis and his wife Aalia, during the 13th century, in Masyaf.
When her father left the village to cross the desert, Nada gifted him a painted a rock with the message "Good luck, Papa." Later, as bandits were robbing Mukhlis, they found the rock and tossed it into a well.
