The Kolonides Camp

The Kolonides Camp was a military camp in the Valley of Aristomenes in Messenia, Greece. It was located in the most southern tip of the region overlooking the entrance to the Messenian Gulf.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place. She went on to kill the captain of the soldiers stationed at the cacmp, burning their supplies and claiming their valuables as well.[1]
