The Altar of Aphrodite was a small altar located at the northern tip within the Aphrodite's Watch region of Kythera Island, Greece.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra confronted Diona and her older identical twin sister Eritha at the altar, after learning of the former's identity as a member of the Worshippers of the Bloodline branch of the Cult of Kosmos. After revealing Diona's association with the Cult, Kassandra slew her.[1]
