Hippokratides was an Olympic champion and a javelinist in ancient Greece.

He was mentioned as a "true servant of the gods in Olympia" in a note found by the Spartan misthios Kassandra during the Peloponnesian War. Hippokratides was further mentioned as throwing in the name of the Greek god Hermes.[1]
