The Alpheios Camp was a military camp in the Psophis Foothills in Elis, Greece. Found in the northernwestern tip of the region near the borders of both the Forgotten Swamps and Plains of Flax, this camp protected some crossroads. It was occupied by a small military force.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place, killed the captain, burned their war supplies and claimed their valuables.[1]
