Hammad Ar-Rawiya (died 8th century) was a Iranian scholar who lived in the 8th century. He knew several pieces of pre-Islamic Arabic poems by heart, collecting them and writing them down in the Mu'allaqat.

During the early 16th century, the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze bought a copy of this book from a book shop in Constantinople.[1]
