Habibah, also known as The Medicine, was an Order of the Ancients member active in Egypt in the 1st century BCE. The Egyptian Hidden One Khepri eventually found and killed her in the Temple of Philae.[1]
Biography[edit | edit source]
Habibah was a doctor from Memphis who used her position to gather allies and kill enemies. During her work, she came to own an Isu artifact, a double-bladed knife, which she stored in a golden chest where she also kept other trinkets away from her fellow Order members. The Hidden One Nashwa sent comrades to assassinate Habibah, but she managed to evade their attempts and kept her identity a secret.[1]
Habibah later moved her operations from Memphis to the Temple of Philae near Aswan, where she stayed in a room she could barricade, surrounded by several guards. Khepri, another Hidden One sent by Nashwa, killed all of Habibah's guards and called out to her, pretending to be one of the soldiers. Habibah opened the door, looked at Khepri, and noted that she had not been expecting a woman, a sentiment that Khepri also admitted to before plunging her Hidden Blade into Habibah's heart.[1]
As she lay dying, the doctor revealed to Khepri that she was not the first Hidden One Nashwa had sent after her, and asked Khepri to take the knife from her chest of trinkets.[1]
Personality and traits[edit | edit source]
Habibah wore white and gold robes, "like some sort of pharaoh", according to Khepri.[1]
