It is a necessary plot element and can only be achieved by winning four tournaments in the Carnevale. The tournaments are a Race, A fighting tournament, a Pickpocket mission, and a Capture the flag. After completion of the said competitions, [[~~Silvio Barbarigo]] bribes the person conducting the tournament into giving the mask to [[Dante~~]]~~. Ezio steals the mask to enter the party and assassinate Marco.
