Fort Geraneia

Fort Geraneia was an Athenian controlled fort situated in the foothills of Mount Geraneia in Megaris, Greece.

In 431 BCE during the Peloponnesian War the Spartan misthios Kassandra was tasked by Stentor to loot the fort's treasury in a bid to weaken the Athenian control.[1]
