Alektryon was a figure in Greek mythology.
In the 5th century BCE, a location on a small island south of Naxos Island had been named after him. It was originally the site of a fisherman's hut, but its human inhabitants had seemingly been slaughtered by a flock of chickens by the time the misthios Kassandra visited it around 427 BCE.[1]
Trivia[edit | edit source]
