Folcanstan

Folkestone (Old English: Folcanstan), is a port town on the southern coast of Kent, England. Circa 874, Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan met Cent's Abbot Cynebert and the Hidden One Basim in the town, reporting the news that King Alfred had chosen thegn Tedmund to be the next ealdorman. The trio then devised a plan to capture Tedmund so Cynebert could fake a rescue and cause Tedmund's life to be indebted to him.[1]
