Kenway tried to stop him after seeing his concealed blade, however, Albert stole the purse without alerting its owner. Before making an escape, he was spotted by [[Wilson]] and [[Matthew Hague]], Caroline's suitor. Wilson grabbed Albert and beat him up. Seeing this, Kenway knocked out Wilson and had Albert apologize to Caroline before sending him away.

Albert was a young cutpurse in the town of Bristol. He was recruited by Edward Kenway in an effort to woo Caroline Scott in 1711.
