Diagoras (died 448 BCE) of Rhodes was a famed Olympic champion and a pankrationist.
He was the father of Dorieus and Kallipateira, and thus the grandfather of the latter's son, Peisirrhodos.
The poet Pindar wrote a poem celebrating Diagoras, and dedicating it "To K, always be proud, little one. Your father is the greatest of pankration champions."[1]
