Deogol (died c. 874) was the ealdorman of Cent in the Kingdom of Wessex during the late 9th century.
Following his passing, disputed as a result of either the Danes murdering him or simply falling off the Dover Cliffs while drunk, King Alfred nominated several thegns to succeed Deogol as the next ealdorman of the shire, with thegn Tedmund ultimately chosen as the replacement.[1]
