During the same night in the Amritsar palace, Arbaaz's attention was caught by Princess Pyara Kaur, Ranjit Singh's grand-daughter. After spotting Singh handing a diamond to Bustee, Arbaaz tasked Raza to spy on him and locate the Toshakhana, while he devoted his own energy toward courting the princess.
Pyara was struck by Arbaaz's charm but reluctant to let herself be seduced. She knew nothing of the mysterious young man but couldn't stop herself from liking him. In the garden of the Amritsar palace, he brought her a rare, poisonous flower. After succeeding in stealing a kiss from her, Arbaaz left to join Raza for the real mission.
