He exposed his view of the situation to the princess: his grandfather was threatened by the Templars, who wanted to conquer India in the name of the British Empire. They would not hesitate to kill the Maharajah and steal the diamond... then he discovered that Raza had given it away.
Pyara would not let Arbaaz go without saving her grandfather. The Assassin agreed to fight for the man who had his whole family killed in the conquest of Kashmir.
