Almost nothing is known about El Tiburón - The Shark - outside what we have seen from his limited intersections with the life of Edward Kenway. His unwavering loyalty to his employer, Laureano Torres, could possibly indicate some familial connection, but there is no benefit to speculations of this sort.
If we have any interest in learning more about this silent sentinel, our best bet would be to locate a descendant of Torres himself and work our way back through the Governor's life until we find a useful convergence. But apart from this, I doubt we'll have much luck.
