Carl Gustav Jung (1875 – 1961) was a Swiss psychiatrist and psychotherapist.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Legacy and influence[edit | edit source]

Jung's concept of collective unconscious was proven true through Abstergo Industries' Animus Project and discovery of genetic memory. The Animus was named in honor of Jung's concept of anima and animus. Due to the Animus' success, it was deemed that the theory no longed need be disputed.[1]

In 2016, Jung's concept of the collective unconscious was linked to the Ascendance Event by ex-Templar Sebastian Monroe to Owen Meyers and Grace Collins on their way to Mongolia.[2]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

Throughout the Assassin's Creed series, women such as Eve, Maria Thorpe and Sofia Sartor shared their names with stages of anima development, a male's inner feminine personality.
