Shah Shujah Durrani (4 November 1785 – 5 April 1842), also called Shujah Shah Durrani, was the ruler of Afghanistan from 1803 to 1809 and from 1839 until his death.[1]

After being deposed, Shah Durrani gave the Koh-i-Noor diamond, a Piece of Eden, to Maharajah Ranjit Singh in 1830, who in turn reclaimed the Afghan throne for him.[2]
