My sentiments precisely. The moment Edward was chasing Duncan Walpole, I was like "Wait what? How are you able to do that when you've been at sea?" And later when demonstrating Assassin skills as well. Seriously, he only saw Duncan use a couple moves in the Dark of the night, how could he know how an Assassin is supposed to do things?

I think AC2 was the best in that regard, where Ezio couldn't do a bloody thing until he trained with Leonardo and Mario and later with Rosa. The fact that he could do kill-streaks in ACB which is pretty much directly after 2 with no training session to give evidence was also sketchy but it was okay.

True enough that him and his Brother being free-running masters was a bit difficult to believe at first.

AC3 was bad. True Haytham couldn't climb trees due to lack of skill in that aspect but Connor could take down forts by himself before even meeting Achilles. Its true that you couldn't do kill-streaks properly or any advanced stuff or even use hidden blade or pistols but you prove that you don't really need them. You are a beast even though you are a teenager that just left his village.

I think AC2 was the better in that regard, where Ezio couldn't do a bloody thing until he trained with Leonardo and Mario and later with Rosa. The fact that he could do kill-streaks in ACB which is pretty much directly after 2 with no training session to give evidence was also sketchy but it was okay. True enough that him and his Brother being free-running masters was a bit difficult to believe at first.
