Arrian of Nicomedia (Latin: Lucius Flavius Arrianus Xenophon; c. 86 – c. 160) was a Greek public servant and military officer who served in the Roman Empire. He was also a historian and wrote the Anabasis Alexandri, which centered on the exploits of Alexander the Great.
During the early 16th century, the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze bought a copy of this book from a book shop in Constantinople.[1]
