Rhodanthe was a Greek woman who served as a sponsor and a muse to the actor Thespis during 5th century BCE.

History[edit | edit source]

During the Peloponnesian War, she accompanied Thespis to Elis for one of his plays on the Battle of Thermopylae and King Leonidas I of Sparta.[1]
