Description
Long has this one slumbered, dead and dreaming beneath the waves.

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

This cane-sword is one of the many references scattered throughout Assassin's Creed: Syndicate to the Cthulhu mythos created by the horror author H. P. Lovecraft. Specifically, the description of the weapon references what may be the most famous quote regarding Cthulhu: "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn." That phrase is usually translated as "In his house at R'lyeh dead Cthulhu waits dreaming."
