Mujir was the Mentor of the Levantine Brotherhood of Assassins in the early 16th century. He was arrested by the Mamluks in order to intimidate the Assassins in Jerusalem, as the Mamluks were fearful of their recruiting efforts. Mujir was eventually rescued by Ottoman Assassins sent from Constantinople by Ezio Auditore da Firenze, in a "spectacular fashion".[1]
