Ivan IV of Russia, born Ivan Vasilyevich (Russian: Иван Васильевич; 1530 – 1584), better known as Ivan the Terrible, was the Grand Prince of Moscow from 1533 to 1547 and the first Tsar and Grand Prince of all Russia from 1547 until his death.
His son and heir, Ivan Ivanovich, was a Templar-affiliate and was killed by the Assassins in 1581.[1] The Assassins later used Ivan's hidden library beneath the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow as a repository for their artifacts.[2]
