Florli

Florli was a former Norse settlement situated south of the Fannaraki Summit in Rygjafylke, Norway.

History[edit | edit source]

By 872, the settlement was occupied by the Wolf Clan. In December, it was taken over by a coalition of Vikings under Guthorm the Wise and the Raven Clan, who used it as a forward base in preparation for an assault on Kjotve's fortress.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

Florli is a location in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, its inclusion in the game is anachronistic for the time period as the real life Flørli was only first settled during the 17th century.[2]
