Speaking of driving, the location of the gate at the entrance to the Vatican was enlarged for cars in 1990, and the original was moved several metres to the side and permanently closed, which might lead one to ask the important philosophical question: "Which gate is the real Porta Turrionis?", except the Pope renamed it the Porta Cavalleggeri, rendering the question utterly pointless and nonsensical.
