A nocturnal wild cat, the typical ocelot has yellow fur with dark stripes in the manner of a jaguar. They range from the size of a domestic cat up to larger varieties of up to four feet in length.

(Note: You can find them in South and Central America on up into Mexico and Texas . And, of course, in the Caribbean . - DM)
