Appointed by the [[Inner Sanctum of the Templar Order|Inner Sanctum]], these elite and trusted [[Black Cross|members]] are the muscle of the [[Templars|Order]]. They are responsible for maintaining protocol within the Templars' own legions—by whatever means necessary. Corruption will not be tolerated within the ranks, and it is the Black Cross who handle internal affairs when lesser Templars have failed, or if they have perhaps been swayed by the powers of [[Piece of Eden|Pieces of Eden]].

The [[Black Cross]] is a unique rank, only attainable by the [[Templars|Templar Order]]'s most elite members. They answer solely to the [[Inner Sanctum of the Templar Order|Inner Sanctum]] and enjoy unique independence in how they conduct their affairs.
