Ben Bulben is a flat-topped rock formation in County Sligo of Connacht, Ireland. In Irish mythology, it served as the hunting ground of the Fianna led by Finn McCool.[1]
During her time in Ireland, in the late 9th century CE, Eivor Varinsdottir visited the location and built a cairn there.[2]
In 1938, the Irish poet W. B. Yeats wrote "Under Ben Bulben" after being inspired by the area.[3]
