Bardas was a soldier stationed at the Akrokorinth Fort in Korinthia during the Peloponnesian War. He was also an acquaintance of the Athenian statesman Alkibiades.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Around 430 BCE, Bardas sent for a mercenary. Instead of the one he sent, he met the Spartan Kassandra. Though Bardas was suspicious, he accepted a package that Alkibiades had tasked Kassandra to deliver and stressed to her the importance of saying it was from Diodoros. Within the package was a cast of a penis, engraved to tell Bardas to give it to his wife Thelia, for "when she starts to miss me." Enraged at the implication of his wife's infidelity, Bardas questioned Kassandra about the package's sender and swore to kill them.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

If Kassandra lies to Bardas about the cast and says it was from her, the soldier attacks and forces the misthios to kill him in self-defense. Alternatively, he can be knocked out and recruited as an epic lieutenant abroad the Adrestia.
