Sol Pacificus: As explained in Shao Jun's BTS and on Discord, Xiao Han's name is very likely a mistranslation of Shao Han. There is also a lot of wrong info here. Not only is 韓 an unsourced assumption for the name Han, but if it were a given name, it would be unrelated to the 韓 clan, which is also not unique for claiming descent from the Zhou house of Ji... and Han as in the Han people is a totally different word. This is a good example of why it's important to consult with Chinese speakers for names.

As explained in Shao Jun's BTS and on Discord, Xiao Han's name is very likely a mistranslation of Shao Han. There is also a lot of wrong info here. Not only is 韓 an unsourced assumption for the name Han, but if it were a given name, it would be unrelated to the 韓 clan, which is also not unique for claiming descent from the Zhou house of Ji... and Han as in the Han people is a totally different word. This is a good example of why it's important to consult with Chinese speakers for names.
