'''Wesberie''' is a village and parish in [[Shropshire]], [[England]]. During the late 9th century, the village was taken over by an army of [[Britons]] led by captain [[Ynyr ap Cadfarch]] during their incursions into [[Mercia]].

Circa 874, the trio consisting of [[Eivor Varinsdottir]], [[Ivarr the Boneless]] and [[Ceolbert]] led a raid on the village to drive the Britons into suing for peace. After torching various houses, the trio confronted Ynyr, killing him and his men.
