	:Sorry, I keep having more to add. I didn't revert the other's corrections of the possessive because they happened to mostly be cases where the condition for dropping the extra ⟨s⟩ does apply. The only one that I am iffy on is ''Cornwallis''. This is one of those cases where there's some ambiguity. The possessive of the name ''Cornwallis'' can be pronounced with the /s/ lengthened rather than as an additional syllable.
