			Hello Sadelyrate, I hope this message manages to reach you. We wish to alert you to what we believe was an attempt to impersonate you as a moderator a couple of months ago on our Discord server.

			The account used your Fandom username. On 6 January 2024, when we did not verify it immediately for messaging on our server due to the security measures we have in place, they contacted us directly claiming to be you having lost your login details to your Fandom account. We were subsequently unable to verify the identity of the account. The user could not provide any information or answers to our questions to help us with the process, among them naming your acquaintances that they claimed to wish to reconnect with, describing the projects you had worked on on the wiki, or explaining why they were using a new Discord account to join our server. They repeatedly claimed to have poor memory. In response, we finally presented an extended questionnaire on 12 January and asked them to provide firm, decisive answers, upon which they stopped replying.

			If this account really was you, we apologize for the extra caution we displayed. We have had to deal with numerous trolls and other problematic users this past year, including an individual who has made repeated attempts to bypass the security measures on our Discord server, made multiple appeals to be a moderator, engaged in sockpuppetry, and striven constantly to circumvent his ban. This is why we are contacting you about this now (admittedly a bit belatedly), in hopes that we might verify if this Discord account truly was you or otherwise to ensure that you are alerted to an impersonation attempt because you have the right to be informed about it.

I did have the original creator of the article ask about some of your edits. We are curious to why you removed the specific mention of the carbon ingot for just valuables and why remove the actual name of the note? I personally am against the former but feel the latter could just be part of the excerpts rather than the actual paragraph. But we need to figure out if that’s how we want to deal with notes and if so we need to rework a lot of the Origins pages.
