			:I'll be making another pass through Wincestre in the coming weeks, so I'll take a closer look at what you've outlined then. As for what I can remember about those events, nothing jumps out at me; while deducing which combinations of territory pledges will unlock Hordafylke (answer: requires all of them, minus Vinland), I booked it through Wincestre as efficiently as possible. In doing so, I only found differences for [[The Reeve of Wincestre]] when taking on Wincestre before Suthsexe and after, and having Goodwin's research before freeing him and going upstairs for it afterwards. I don't recall ever physically picking up the Quill's manifesto/adding it to my inventory, nor did anything jump out at me in the dialogue that might indicate "this would be different." I'll definitely explore that more carefully, since I'm not even sure what the Quill's manifesto says.
			:As for the mother at the execution site, I was unaware of her, but my own exploration shows that Selwyn isn't even loaded into the game until that "introductory" cutscene executing the husband, then pontificating before the (preventable) execution of the wife. That absolutely can't be triggered until regrouping with Goodwin. I can double-check, but I'm sure that mother's remark is just something to "set up" the Gallows' activities. I ''have'' encountered the children you mentioned, but also didn't make an effort to follow them. Similar to the mother of the executed son, I believed the children were just setting up the Quill's sphere of influence rather than leading to her in any official capacity; the girl Aelfwyn—the real lead—doesn't load until after the scene at the Nun's Minster post-Selwyn assassination, and without her, there's no way to get the key that unlocks the Quill's sewers, even though the locked door is plainly available. And then the funeral for the Seax doesn't load until getting a drink with Goodwin post-Quill assassination... so it seems the arc goes to great pains to enforce a Gallows -> Quill -> Seax order of assassination. By contrast, Lunden and Jorvik allow the first two in either order—and change dialogue accordingly—before sending you after the third. (What's additionally odd to me is that the Quest Log listing pushes Arrow and Needle ahead of Leech and Firebrand, respectively, but the Order submenu presents Leech and Firebrand before Arrow and Needle...)

			:To test this arc, I would get all three viewpoints in Wincestre before starting the arc, pledge to Wincestre and make a save inside the Old Minster after talking to Aelfred, then clear the garrison of Saxon filth but without collecting anything, then leaving the Restricted Area to make another save. Guards respawn after 24 in-game hours (if my previous experience with these Anvil engine games is anything to go by), and when any children come up to you, try tracking them in daylight. Might be a good idea to incorporate the availability of daylight into the aforementioned Saxon cleansing. Also, Charisma Level 4 is required for all "fast pass" dialogues, that's after about 9 flyting challenges... can't really think of anything else to better set up the file. The 4 world events in Wincestre—running girl, Asser, jewelsmith, and zipline to the flower—don't have any changes whether pre- or post-[[Holy Day]], so I doubt they affect anything in the arc itself, either. Anyway, I hope this ramble of mine helped. Best of luck, I'll try to get back there soon to double-check, but no promises.

			Hello RShepherd, you've been doing some fantastic work on ''Valhalla'' memory pages. It's actually much a relief to see because it is such a daunting project that we do not have enough hands on board with. I have admittedly been late to the game, and I am only just on the Wincestre arc, but I noticed a concerning number of floating dialogue, in addition to clues being obtainable out of chronological order. For example, while I was on "[[The Reeve of Wincestre]]", before I had gone to [[Goodwin]]'s house, there were already a lot of clues I could interact with everywhere in the city.

			Yes, I could find and acquire the Quill's manifesto and Goodwin's research before being prompted to look for them, and the dialogue adjusts accordingly (Our memory page actually doesn't show dialogue for not having found them ahead of time). But there are actually at least two "events" on the streets not documented anywhere on our wiki nor captured on any YouTube video I could find.

			One is a woman at the execution square mourning her son, who had just been executed by [[Selwyn]]. After hearing her ambient lines, you can speak to her, but it contributes nothing to the quest. She is still there when you assassinate Selwyn.

			Another is a group of children who accosted me outside of the garrison. They tried to lure me away on a chase, but I did not keep on following because I was afraid to do something out-of-order and thought it best to save the scenario for later. I had decided to clear everything I could in the city before continuing the story, and I had accidentally interacted with the miscellaneous clues at the garrison before Eivor even knew to look for Goodwin there. Because of this, things were already happening out of sequence for me.

			But after I rescued Goodwin and assassinated Selwyn, the children were nowhere to be found. They had quite a lot of ambient lines, and I have no idea what the interaction was supposed to about, and now I am afraid I missed something forever that should be documented on the wiki. I believe that had I not spoken to that woman at the square who lost her son, I also would've missed her dialogue after assassinating Selwyn.

And I completely agree with your position on the evolution of the franchise. Even worse is that it coincided with the removal of memory replay in favor for NG+ which then requires distinct saves or even full playthroughs to test various choice permutations. It's why the logbook coming out was interesting but it seems not much thought (or at least Ubisoft oversight) was actually put into its development. 			Hey I see you are adding to Zealots/Order Trivia/Behind the scenes sections. You seem to already know we are changing the title of that section from trivia to behind the scenes but ideally we are also moving away from bulleted lists to just regular paragraph format. Any trivia point that is just an in universe fact should either be placed somewhere in the main body of the article or if rather unnecessary can just be deleted (stuff like Yohanes being one of two members with surnames). This is because trivia and BTS are two different types of sections.
