			:::No, but there's a difference there. In the case of Mary, he's using his knowledge of his character to decide what he feels suits her more. In your example, it's a literal case of "I like them most".
			:::Not really. Again, if you look back at her history it has nothing to do with her pirate life. She was warped by her mother at a young age, a very young age. She lived as a male from childhood through to adulthood. She only ever revealed her sex, reluctantly, upon fear of death. And if you see how she acts when she isn't deceiving people (even when dressed as a woman) she acts far more like a male than a female (case in point - the unmanning line). 			::I completely agree with you that the current image is horrible, but for the time being it's the best render we have. The issue here is that, whilst Darby ''is'' the lead writer for the series, there is a difference between what he writes and what is canon. Not everything he writes gets put into the final product (which makes the missing points non-canon), and likewise, his every ''opinion'' is not canon.

			::Darby likely has an opinion about who the best protagonist is (in his eyes). Are we suppose to be saying that "Ezio is more awesome than Connor, because." from now on?

			Schmee, your final comment [[Talk:mary Read#Picture\|here]] was, quite frankly, rude to anybody who read it. First and foremost you should realise that as a Wiki, we are not associated with Ubisoft, Darby or anybody tied with Ubisoft ''in any way'', and as such we are not obliged to accept the opinions of anybody who works for them. Your accusations that we are being "stubborn", or that we are in some way incapable of understanding the opinions a higher being, are insulting.

			There is a difference between what a writer puts in the game, and what a writer ''wants'' to put in a game. Just because Darby is of the ''opinion'' that we should use a particular image over another does not mean we have to, and you continued attempts to argue that we should submit have in fact had the opposite effect, in that the chances of that happening are now extremely slim.
