			Well, I would formally welcome you to the Wiki but I see now that you have been a member since November 3rd of 2010 so I suppose I'll skip the formalities for now.

			Back on topic, you were interested in my opinion regarding Desmond's "death" and more likely, his sacrifice. I do feel compelled to share my thoughts with you and as such, I shall begin.

			As you know, Juno is a very conniving being as evidenced by her manipulating Desmond to kill Lucy, which is a violation of his free will and even though Lucy Stillman was in fact Templar in secret... it still serves to tell us that Juno is manipulative. When Desmond encountered her again in the Grand Temple, he suffered a bleeding effect as a result and relived the memories of his ancestor, Haytham Kenway. This was revealed or at least, speculated, that the Temple was trying to communicate with him, implying that it was alive, when in actuality, it was Juno. Being trapped within its walls, she sought contact with Desmond and told him many things, much you already know or should be aware of. I'm sure you've also realized that Desmond noted Juno was up to something, and that they should be careful, they being, Shaun, William and Rebecca... himself included.

			When Juno told Desmond of the circumstances surrounding the Earth, she urged him to release her so the world could be saved. Then Minerva showed up, arguing that Juno was trying to trick him into releasing her and that Juno was in fact a rogue. Minerva then shows Desmond a vision of events to be, depending on his decision... he could either let the world burn and become its shepard... or let the world be saved but still be susceptible to violance, ignorance, famine, and corruption. Among other things.

			My problem is, Desmond suspected Juno was up to something, even going as far as to be wary of her but in the end decides to let himself be willingly manipulated by her. He touches the sphere/pedestal like object, his body is shocked, and then he collapses. It was a heroic sacrifice indeed, but there's something off about the way Juno talked to him in the end saying that "He had played his part" and that "She would do hers". It's as if, she had been planning it during the events of Brotherhood. I more or less believe Desmond is dead but we can't be entirely certain at this point.
