	:Hello Darman, while you are correct that the slur was {{wiki\|Use–mention distinction\|mentioned and not in use}}, I actually don't think we've ever had a discussion about whether our site is comfortable not censoring mentioned slurs. I think that mentioning profane words as they appear in quoted dialogue is normally fine, but slurs are a more severe category than your typical swear words, and if there are users who are uncomfortable about mentioning slurs, we should be considerate about that. As such, I do not see an issue with DToast's edit here or a need to appeal it. Notwithstanding this, I took a look at the page in question, and I don't think the prose necessarily needed to quote the exact slur, so I have edited it out entirely. 	::Censoring as "f*****" is silly (and a bit whitewashy) as it means and evokes the same as the non censored word, so it's better just to replace it as Cyfiero did but I do think it's important to mention the type of slur. And yes "redneck" is a slur but it's mainly applied to white people and along class lines rather than ethnic, gender, or sexuality so no one really cares.
